Sandwiched materials containing a layer of polyurethane (PUR) foam are produced almost exclusively by a technology of flame lamination. These sandiches are created without any glue. PUR foam is melted from one or both sides by multiple flame burners and laminated material is then pressed into thin layer of melt. This way the both materials become fixed together. Face side shows mostly fabrics or PVC leathrettes and from back side is visible knitted or non-woven fabric.
The thickness of polyurethane foam can be up to 40 mm, working width of the line is 2000 mm. The finished sandwich is wound into rolls.
